The list of iPhone-friendly websites continues to increase, with online sales heavyweight Amazon developing a sliced-up portal for Apple's rinky-dink cellphone. Visit the traditional www.amazon.com page on your iPhone and you'll be prompted to jump to their new site.

It's basically a cut-down version of the full site with most of the unnecessary adverts and pictures cut out in the name of EDGE-friendly surfing. You still have access to your account, to searches and to all the different departments you'd find on the normal page, plus they're obviously keen on getting feedback with a banner demanding it.
Unlike, say, Facebook's iPhone offering however, the page while formatted for the iPhone resolution doesn't really make concessions to the finger-jabbing interface. Search keys are still relatively small, and there's no real MultiTouch loveliness. Still, Amazon is one of those sites I like to be able to check when I'm out in the real-world (no, really, I do occasionally leave the house) and wanting to see how much I could potentially save by buying online.
