Apple's annual WWDC kicks off today and were expecting some interesting things to surface at the show. One interesting thing that's already been confirmed thanks to a banner is that iOS 6 will debut at the show.

We learned iOS 5 will be unveiled at WWDC and Steve Jobs will be there to give the keynote. Along with iOS 5, the iCloud service is expected to be unveiled.

Apple has officially announced WWDC 2011 and generally we see a new iPhone surface at this show each year. The rumor is that this year WWDC will focus on iOS and OS X and not hardware meaning no iPhone 5 is expected at the show.

A big rumor is floating around that Foxconn might be closing down its Chinese manufacturing plants for the iPhone. The rumor claims the operations would be moved to India and Vietnam.

A new patent app from Apple surfaced last week that outlined a way to put solar panels behind the screen of devices. Apple is looking to add solar panels to all its gear.

Anyone who follows the iPhone knows that the devices are unveiled at WWDC, set to kick off in only a few days. The launch of a new iPhone will mean the iPhone 3G will be killed off and the select button to buy the device has been removed from the Apple Store, is this a sign of things to come.

Apple has announced the dates for WWDC and it is set to kick off on June 7. The conference will be the first ever to hold iPad developer sessions along with session for iPhone OS 4 development.

Vodafone is set to get the iPhone 3G and 3GS on its network in the UK starting on January 14. The handset will be offered free on some plans and tethering will be offered for an additional monthly charge.

On the WWDC 2009 event, Apple has officially unveiled an upgrade model for its iPhone 3G with iPhone 3Gs.
