David Pouge posted up a review today of the Verizon iPhone 4 and noted in the original review that the device on AT&T would get tethering on Feb 13. That part has been removed from the review now, likely forced out by Apple ninjas.

You won't be able to tether your iPhone to the iPad and it's not AT&T's fault this time. Apple has apparently blocked the Bluetooth profile on the iPad that allows tethering and has no plans to enable it.

Anyone who follows the iPhone knows that the devices are unveiled at WWDC, set to kick off in only a few days. The launch of a new iPhone will mean the iPhone 3G will be killed off and the select button to buy the device has been removed from the Apple Store, is this a sign of things to come.

According to reports, China Unicom is set to sell the iPhone with WiFi. The current handsets it sells lack WiFi while gray market alternatives have it.

As we know, iPhone OS 3.0 allows you to tether your iPhone's 3G connection to your laptop, or other mobile gadgets online while on the move. AT&T don't officially support it so far, while others like O2 in the UK will offer it but of course with an extra data plan.

AT&T promised that it'll offer MMS on the iPhone after getting some system upgrades done, but according to Engadget, "seems that it works right now -- if you've got a build of OS 3.0 that'll let it." The site's tipster sent screenshoots that indicate both MMS and tethering are in full effect on the network.

One developer was successfully tethering his iPhone 3G to his laptop over USB, MacRumors wrote. Steve Troughton-Smith, the hacker, is now working on the same thing but through Bluetooth connection.

AT&T Mobility CED, Ralph De La Vega, has recently announced the arrival of the tethering plans for the iPhone. We all knew that AT&T has been working with Apple to bring an official tethering plan to iPhone customers, but no previous details have been leaked.
