No iPhone tethering for iPad, decoding new data plan rates, MasterCard app enables money send and receive

You won’t be able to tether your iPhone to the iPad and it’s not AT&T’s fault this time. Apple has apparently blocked the Bluetooth profile on the iPad that allows tethering and has no plans to enable it.

Computerworld has posted up a story on decoding the new AT&T iPhone data plans and helping the user decide what plan to use. If you routinely use under 200MB of data, stick with the $15 plan. The best news in all of this is that if you are on the $30 unlimited plan now, we are grandfathered in even if you buy that shiny new iPhone this summer.

MasterCard has unveiled a new app that lets users send and receive money. The app is called MoneySend and it is only good in the US and can be used for all sorts of payments. The app is available now and is free to download but transfers cost as much as $2.95 each.
