The adoption rate of iOS 6 has leveled out at 60% after one month of the new operating system being available. The significant adoption rate proves that despite shortcomings with Apple's own maps, criticisms of the new operating system aren't stopping people from upgrading.

Apple users are updating to iOS 6 at a much faster rate than users updated to iOS 5. Users are said to be upgrading to iOS 6 122% faster than they upgraded to iOS 5.

I'm sure more than a few iPhone users out there are waiting in anticipation for iOS 6. The operating system brings new features and capabilities to the mix. This week Apple released a second beta for iOS 6 to developers called build 10A5338d. The build was noted to bring "bug fixes and improvements."

TomTom issued a press release yesterday that spilled the beans on them inside details on maps in iOS 6. TomTom noted that Apple had licensed some of its tech and it turns out the data could be coming from Waze.

Apple's annual WWDC kicks off today and were expecting some interesting things to surface at the show. One interesting thing that's already been confirmed thanks to a banner is that iOS 6 will debut at the show.
