We learned iOS 5 will be unveiled at WWDC and Steve Jobs will be there to give the keynote. Along with iOS 5, the iCloud service is expected to be unveiled.

Nielsen has unveiled the latest figures for the smartphone market. iOS has held steady at about 26% while Android is still 36% of the market in the latest numbers.
A rumor has surfaced that the iPhone 4S will have an integrated SIM card. The same rumor claims that the iPhone 5 will come in the spring of 2012. This is the first time a rumor has pointed to the iPhone 4S and 5 being different devices.

What expectation! More trinkets! Oh, the excitement!
You would think MacDefender hadn’t surfaced. More fanboy juvenilia from Kit Eaton.
However, the company has openly admitted that it will be showing iOS 5, as well as iCloud, the company’s “upcoming cloud services offering.” The company normally prefers to surprise the public and the media with new products….
I don´t think iCloud necessarily means “online music” for Apple. It should be one of many features, but my take is that it will be related to productivity. iWork would leapfrog MS Office if we could edit any document online from a Mac, iPad, iPhone or ipod and be able to do it with simultaneous users in real time. From the cloud or from a server.
I know this is already available in Google Docs, but the interface is not easy to use from mobile devices and is missing too many features. With Apple´s installed base it could easily become a standard.
