The Mophie Juice Pack Air, first announced back in February, today goes on sale through Apple stores worldwide and via the online Apple store. Promising to boost iPhone 3G runtime by almost 100-percent, the Juice Pack Air builds on the original Juice Pack and 3G Juice Pack by adding all-round jacket protection and a new standby mode.
That standby mode means the iPhone 3G can be left in the case, but reserve battery power kept back for when a user knows they’ll specifically need it. An included USB cable and sync-through technology means the Mophie Juice Pack Air will both recharge itself and synchronize/charge the iPhone without requiring its removal from the case.

Its a nice case except the following:
1. It doesn’t actually privde the “full protection” as the screen is not covered!! (that was wayyy misleading on their site, as they are selling the “hard cases” with covered screens (meaning the ENTIRE device is covered)
2. Speaker/Microphone is hidden behind the plastic..
