Here's a new application that I'm sure will appeal to many technicians in the business world. A new project is working to bring you SSH support on the iPhone.
I have done remote Linux server support for several years, and one of the biggest pains is getting to a PC to login to a server just to restart a service. Having a phone that would allow me to do this would have made my life much easier. Other phones already have solutions, but WebShell is the first piece of software that we've heard that could bring this to the iPhone.
How many of you have used SSH on your smartphone in the past? I've not done this before, so how were your experiences? Would you use it if this became available on the iPhone?
AIM and SSH coming to an iPhone near you, sort of [via infinite loop]

I would definately use it. I’m a linux sysadmin so this would invaluable for me. I’ve used it on smartphones in the past but the screen was always to small. My plans for the iphone would be to get a bluetooth small fold out keyboard to use instead of the softboard. That would be very nice.
