Should you be a Windows user, you've probably had the feeling of watching in through the window from outside in the cold as Mac owners (both Intel and PPC-based) revel in their Installer.app excitement. Well suffer no more, Microsofties, as iPhone lover and Windows user Nate True has come to your rescue with iBrickr.

Don't let the name and its suggestion of a buggered iPhone put you off: iBrickr is designed to bring the same features as Installer.app - namely on-the-go application installs and on-phone ringtone management, all from a straightforward interface - but for those who are yet to be sucked into the Cult of Mac.
Currently up to version 0.6, and with healthy support and feedback from the community, iBrickr first walks you through setting up your iPhone (which takes around 10 minutes) and from that point you have a PC-based interface to modify your handset. Adding the Nullriver Installer.app PXL file is easy and gives the on-the-go application management.
Obviously modifying your iPhone could, in some cases, result in a broken handset requiring a full restore or, worse, repair by Apple. You attempt any hacks at your own risk!
