iOS 5 OTA Verizon update, Snapbucket for iOS coming, iOS 4.3.3 available

Verizon is saying that the iPhone on its network will be able to get the iOS 5 update OTA. Generally, the only way to get an update to an iPhone is to connect to a computer and update via a USB cable from iTunes. I wonder if AT&T will get wireless updates too.

Photobucket launched a new mobile app for Android today called Snapbucket mobile that lets you do all sorts of things with your photos before sharing them. The company also said that the app would be coming soon for iOS users.

The iOS 4.3.3 update is now available on iTunes for users to load to their phones. This update brings the “fix” for the location-tracking flaw on the iPhone.

iOS 5 won’t be available OTA; iOS 5 will add OTA updates itself. The article specifically says iOS 5 will come the usual way.
