Verizon is saying that the iPhone on its network will be able to get the iOS 5 update OTA. Generally, the only way to get an update to an iPhone is to connect to a computer and update via a USB cable from iTunes. I wonder if AT&T will get wireless updates too.

iFixit has laid hands on a Verizon iPhone 4 and taken the smartphone apart for prosperity. The device has been found to have a world radio inside thanks to the Qualcomm MDM6600 chipset.

GSLO has announced that it has secured the rights to exclusively sell a new charging case in the US. The case is the Volt Solar Charger and has an internal battery and a solar panel on the back for charging on the go.

Yesterday was the day that hoards of iPhone fans have been waiting for, the iPhone 4 hit Verizon. The phone has a bit of a different design and apparently doesn't suffer from the antenna issue that the AT&T device has. All I can say is AT&T is damn lucky I just got my iPhone 4 and I am too cheap ...
