Are you a Twitterer? I've not quite fallen for the idea of constantly updating a network of semi-strangers with my movements (bowel or otherwise) at every opportunity through the day, but there's no doubting that for some it's an addictive process. Of course, several iPhone apps have sprung up to satisfy your need to periodically Twitter, and iPhone Central have been good enough to pit two of the competitors against each other: PocketTweets and Hahlo.

Both allow you to update your Twitter friends with 160 character ramblings about the cute geek you just flirted with; both let you monitor your tweet streams, whether those be public, private or an archive of your own posts. However only PocketTweets will let you mark a tweet as a favourite, while Hahlo's cut-down interface makes it far preferable on an EDGE connection.
Neither, to be frank, is ideal. They don't update in real-time and they have some issues with the magnifying glass corrector when entering text. Still, it's early days and developers are really testing the waters of web-based iPhone app development. iPhone Central tip Hahlo for the regular tweeters and PocketTweets for those who regularly favourite specific tweets, but as far as I can see the latter really is edging out the former so far.
Have you tried either? Or is there another Twitter web-app that's stolen your heart? Let us know in the comments.
