TomTom’s turn-by-turn navigation app is one of the most interesting capabilities of Apple iPhone OS 3.0. Both Tomtom's software app and accompanying car kit were announced, complete with Points Of Interest (POIs) and both 2D and 3D mapping.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs is set to return to Apple on schedule within a few weeks, according to the Wall Street Journal. The survivor of pancreatic cancer went on medical leave in January. "We look forward to Steve returning to Apple at the end of June," an Apple spokesman told the Journal.

Apple patented a new system for inserting media into an ongoing phonecall, enabling iPhone owners to share music, video, image, voicemail or podcasts during conversation. So, by using the application, you don't need to end your conversation and then email a multimedia file as an attachment.

If it's true, the 4GB iPhone is a bit of a surprise, since users need more storage space to accommodate many tempting apps for the iPhone. We are certainly expecting 32GB model right now (and we have had 8GB and 16GB for a long time), but 4GB?
