The developers of Documents to Go—and Microsoft Office Documents editor for BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile, and Symbian—are finally bringing the application to the iPhone. It will be interesting to see how this is going to work, given the iPhone lacks basic editing capabilities.

Australian developer Firemint have been showing off their new mobile racing game, Real Racing, which could make an appearance on the iPhone's AppStore by Christmas. It looks like I jumped the gun! The iPhone 2.0.2 is here. As in right now. It's primary objective is to provide "bug fixes," whatever that means. All I know, is I'll be anxious to see if this new software will really provide the fixes so many iPhone 3G users need.

It looks like the update we've all been talking about that will hopefully put the iPhone 3G's reception issues to rest, is finally here! At approximately 5:00 pm EST, you'll be able to download Version 2.0.2 (5C1) of the iPhone software from iTunes. I'm not seeing it yet, but I'm sure it'll be up soon.

Screenshots have leaked from a new Sirius-XM application that would allow iPhone users to listen to streaming radio from the two channels. Called StarPlayr, it not only plays the audio but provides album art, artist and track information and even lyrics.

The Associated Press have launched a localized news service for the iPhone. The system, which also works with other mobile devices, uses a ZIP code to bring stories from 107 big-name partnerships, including The Miami Herald and the San Francisco Chronicle. Supported by adverts, revenue will be shared, in part, between content providers.
