iPhone tops JD Power smartphone survey

As if there would every be any question about it, the Apple iPhone and iPhone 3G have topped the latest survey conducted by JD Power & Associates. Another iPhone 3G ad bites the dust in the UK

Wow, the advertising conditions in the UK are pretty strict! An Apple ad was pulled earlier this year, but now another iPhone 3G ad was pulled from UK TV because it apparently exaggerated the performance speed of the iPhone 3G. Google acknowledges skirting App Store rules

It seems Google has confirmed the notion that Google Mobile uses APIs that are undocumented, opening up the ability to use the built-in proximity sensor in the iPhone for verbal searches. App Store reaches 200 million downloads mark

6.9 million iPhones sold in Q4

Despite the economic downturn, Apple is still doing pretty well for itself. Their Q4 earnings call today revealed that the company sold about 6.9 million iPhones. Want a bit of a comparison?
