Mophie will launch its Juice Pack Air, a rechargeable external battery (as well as a case), for the iPhone 3G. Compared to the current model (called 3G Juice Pack), the new model offers better and full protection, integrated power switch, thinner and light-weight.

The week started with news that Adobe and Apple are working together to create Flash for iPhone, according to Adobe chief Shantanu Narayen. Despite it's not so easy and really up to Apple, but Narayen said that he was "pleased with progress".

The FCC released detail on a patent that Apple filed regarding a secondary backlight. The backlight would show status updates such as new email, text message or missed calls without having to turn the primary backlight on, thus saving battery life. It looks highly likely that we will see this in the next version of the iPhone.
