The Apple MacPad

Posted on 26 December 2006 by Vincent Nguyen

I’ll eat my shoe if Apple delivers anything remotely similar to the MacPad. "Part iPod, part Mac, part Tablet (Newton for you old timers) now part of your digital life…" Amen to that. "Sketch your ideas. Lets you do things you do on a Mac. 7" glossy Widscreen touchscreen. Full onscreen virtual keyboard and scroll wheel. Wireless Wi-Fi ... continued »

iPod Video chat anytime, anywhere, anyplace

Posted on 26 December 2006 by Vincent Nguyen

Macworld 2007 is a stone throw away so there’s bound to be a handful of rumors and supposedly leaked images of yet-to-be-announced iPhone (place holder name only). That being said, I just got this image in from “Greats from Germany, Björn” depicting an iPod with a twist of video chat feature. The rendering looks pretty good, but why stop at video ... continued »

Apple’s Patent Application for new iPod interface

Posted on 25 December 2006 by Vincent Nguyen

If filing for patents wasn’t such a pain in the ass, I’d be starting to wonder whether Apple was thinking up new “could it be a touchscreen iPod?!” concepts and putting them through the system just to keep people’s anticipation high. Seriously, they must have their patent lawyers as number one speed-dial. The latest to emerge from Cupertino ... continued »

Another Leaked Apple “iPhone” image showing more details

Disclaimer: I don’t know if this is real or not, I ... continued »

iPhone launches, nobody impressed, Gizmodo take their ball home

Posted on 18 December 2006 by Vincent Nguyen

Oh dear. So on Friday Gizmodo's Brian Lam ran a very short post claiming that the iPhone would launch on Monday - cue a barrage of "you tease" and other slightly-less-polite comments, with an underlying hiccup of "please let it launch". Well, time waits for no man (or woman, or long-awaited Apple cellphone) and so today everyone was stunned ... continued »
