I just heard back from Samsung. Anyone waiting to get the F700 should plan on getting the iPhone be cause the company hsa no immediate plans to release it in the US.
Vincent: Is Samsung releasing the F700 after 3GSM and if so when?

Yes sir, not only the iPhone is uber exclusive to Cingular, Apple has made a special edition for India. Features like Miss-call Management Service, Emergency Feign Death Mode, Gutter & Pothole Maneuvering System and others (see below) are only available in the India Edition of the Apple iPhone.

It’s hard to say whether Apple is facing another lawsuit this early in the game since we know very little about the iPhone’s screen technology. On the surface, it seems as though Apple may have infringed on Sony Ericsson’s paten filed on May 1, 2004 and issued on August 1, 2006.
