Over at the Hackint0sh forums, a couple of people decided to unlock their iPhone, little did they know, opening their phone after completing the software, was not such a great idea. At least they now have a door stop, brick, frisbee, and tons of other useful tasks.
We were so happy, all the software part was done, so we started opening ...

Remember those new iPhone ads I showed you not too long ago? Well sure enough, if it’s a decent Apple commercial, there are going to be parodies, and there are.

This one is even quite humorous if I do say so myself. It is regarding a gentleman and his bricked iPhone.

I would say it must have been someone very enterprising must have come up with this, but it appears to be free, so I am going to go with someone very desperate. They kept it very simple too.
You open the application on your iPhone and there is a bar at the top that has a start button, while, running if ...

Starting the day with something funny, we've already seen the knitted iPhone and a very impressive wood & aluminium facsimile, but how about a clay iPhone? Apparently intended as part of a prank on his wife, Flickr user vaughn235 put together a tactile looking iPhone copy - complete with box and dock - made out of Sculpey Premo modelling clay.

I've heard a few people say they love their iPhone, but up until now I didn't know you could find love with it. Apple's cellphone is the latest gadget to get picked up by speed-dating aficionados, with jam-packed iDating parties being organised in cities across the country.

As soon as someone comes up with a daft idea you can be pretty sure that there'll be another who'll make it real. In the run up to the iPhone's launch a common joke was the idea of Apple making an iPhone Shuffle - no screen like the compact DAP, just a single button which would dial a random number. ...

Poor Craig was looking to play with an iPhone at his local Apple store, likely lured in by the thought of the handset's swish multi-touch interface. So imagine his surprise at the sight of a lovely Unix shell smiling back at him from one of the display models; he of course used its neighbour to snap a photo.
I suppose it makes ...

It took us a few days to calm poor Vincent down after he watched the Will It Blend team liquidise an iPhone in one of their awesome Total Blenders; I'm now thinking of suggesting he saves up to buy the remnants on eBay so that he can scatter them and maybe achieve some sort of closure. Bidding for the mangled cellphone ...

The iPhone might be all that and a bag of chips, but is it particularly nice to snuggle up to at night? No doubt that certain members of the Gizmodo team have been getting a little more intimate than is usual with their handset, but for out and out huggable you really need this glorious knitted iPhone.

If you watch closely to the iPhone activation and sync video Vincent posted earlier, you will notice the iPhone’s capacity bar shows 80GB of storage. While it’s not impossible to have 80GB of storage on iPhone, it’s unlikely at this time due to cost. 80GB flash drive will shot iPhone’s price all the way to the roof.
Does Apple really have ...

It turns out that Microsoft really isn't worried about the iPhone. They have their own secret weapon, a big-ass table.

It seems that some customer service reps at local AT&T stores are informing customers that the lowest data plan for the iPhone will be the Media Max Unlimited Plan. But will this really be the case?
A quick survey of 5 local AT&T stores in my area were actually split down the middle. Two of them informed me that it will ...
