A handset branding survey was completed shortly before the announcement of the iPhone. Goldman Sachs seems to think that based off of this that Apple is really going to shake things up.

In today’s news, Quantum publicly denied preparing suit again Apple over the iPhone’s screen technology. A video surfaced, demonstrating an iPhone-like cover flow for the iPod. The tipster didn’t reveal when we can expect the firmware.

The creator of this ad is clearly misinformed or in denial. It’s pretty obvious many features of the iPhone were left out. Notice there’s no mention of longer battery life, capacitive touch-screen featuring gestures, next generation user interface, WiFi, cover flow, and the list goes on and on.
It’s still funny and worth a reading; it should tickle Windows ...

Cover flow is one of many cool features on the iPhone. Apple will soon make it available on your iPod via a firmware update. The tipster tipping Gizmodo off did not reveal when to expect the firmware and warned not to expect any new-generation iPods before the iPhone debuts.

Quantum Research, a developer of capacitive sensors for user interface, officially stated it is not yet filing legal suit against Apple regarding Apple’s iPhone.

It's amazing how a product can be outdated before it even hits the market. Ok, the iPhone won't be outdated when it hits the market, but potential European customers may have good reason to put off their purchase for a few months.
