iPhone is “simply sensational” – walking away with an iF design award

Posted on 14 March 2008 by

I agree the iPhone is simply sensational, while the Apple Bluetooth headset is a great example of minimal and functional design. However, if you've ever used the headset for even a few minutes in a loud or slightly windy environment, it's simply unusable. A Bluetooth headset without noise cancellation or wind guard is useless, no matter how pretty ... continued »

Bluetooth tweak brings streaming iPhone music

Posted on 13 August 2007 by

While still not excusing Apple in any way, shape or form from the lamentable absence of A2DP stereo Bluetooth from the iPhone, there's at least a hack of sorts to play music and the audio track from a video through your wireless headset.  Don't get your hopes up too much, though; it's a partial solution at best.   continued »

BlueAnt Z9 Bluetooth Headset looks very promising

Posted on 02 August 2007 by

Our man Vincent may be married to his iPhone, but he's rather promiscuous when it comes to Bluetooth headsets. He's always searching for the gold standard in hands-free, and while so far he seems to be leaning toward the Gennum NX6000 that hasn't stopped him dallying with SoundID's SM100 EarModule and Apple's own Bluetooth Headset. The latest beauty ... continued »
