So first, they released the iPhone for $600 for the 8GB version, then they subtracted $200 just 2 months later and the early adopters were furious. Now they have decided to continue with their policy of not offering refunds, but $100 Apple Store giftcards.
I know the difference between 400 and 600 is 200, not 100, but you did get it ...

I forgot to mention in my previous post that Robin Williams dropped by the Cube store, then stopped for a photo op with a couple of my fellow iCampers.
Photo taken by Pauli Norbert (Mr. Number 6)
After he hung out with us for a few brief moments, Robin crossed the street and disappeared into the darkness, vanishing away right before ...

This article goes out to all my fellow campers and newfound friends, braving ridicules from nearly everyone that passed by, terrible rainstorm on Wednesday night, heat and humidity during the day and other challenging elements of living on the streets of Manhattan.
The images below were taken by my good friend Pauli Norbert (Mr. Number 6).
We had a slight break during ...

You may have already read my article about Imagination’s challenge: solve the Tetris Cube and win one iPhone plus a 2-year basic minimum service commitment to AT&T. And yes, we managed to snag one. It’s a sweet deal.
I have Imagination’s very own Steven Komarnitsky talking about the Tetris Cube and the competition in this video. Jump over ...

Call me nuts, or call me crazy or whatever, but the moment the doors at the Apple Store on 5th Ave, in Manhattan reopened for business, the energy and excitement surrounding the iPhone launch was unreal. I know many of you weren't able to attend, lucky for you, I was there to capture ...

Our media whore has been hard at work today, but he's finally managed to find some time to shoot a brief video walkthrough of his iPhone. He was too excited to bother waiting to get back for a formal unboxing. If you were wondering, Vincent decided to unbox his right outside the store for the entire crowd to watch.

Our own Vincent is a media whore. Deny it all you want, but the facts are stacked against you man. Just look at this picture that's plastered on USA Today and MSNBC. Don't forget the one that the New York Times took (they've since put up another one). Don't you think that is just a little bit greedy? Some ...

Finally, the wait is over, and Vincent is finally done having his fun at the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. He's had some time to upload a couple of pictures, and he promises that he will have more up, and even some video as well. Here are just a few of the ones that he took.

Hey all, there's a lot of excitement here at the Apple Store on 5th Ave., Manhattan. I just scored a peak at the new backside of the store. Not much to see yet, so stay tune.
I'm really sorry I can't upload videos and images, but will do it later. 25 minutes to go...and I need to run now ...

We're used to hearing about people getting rowdy at game console launches, but this is one of the first attempted muggings that I've heard of at a phone launch. Steven Levy was being interviewed by Fox news when a man ran up and wrestled a device from the reporters hands.
What is really interesting is that the guy didn't go for ...

I was in the right place at the right time when I snagged this clip of Steven Levy with Newsweek, being interviewed by Brian of CNBC. If you recall, Steven is one of two people in Manhattan and one of four people in the country to receive a review unit.

If you thought that the scene around your local Apple store was turning into a circus, you should see the flagship store in San Fransisco. They literally have a circus there.
