What if the Apple iPhone is the first step towards a MacPad?
I'm convinced that the Apple iPhone is the first piece of the puzzle to Apple’s master plan to rule the world of mobility. Apple’s offering already include Apple TV for your living room, Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, Macbook, iPods and now the Apple iPhone. The only market that Apple’s not in is the UMPC. Worry not my fellow Apple fans, because it’s only a matter of time.

UK Retailer Taking RSVP for the Apple iPhone
Something smells fishy with this picture because it’s a little early for the UK phone retailer, Carphone Warehouse (CPW) to be taking registration info from future iPhone owners. The site is showing a launch date of December 2007. CPW could be fishing for info, so I’d think twice before giving the site your name, address and the carrier that you’re currently on.

Is Rogers Wireless Apple’s carrier of choice for Canada?
I don’t recall Steve saying anything about whether the iPhone was getting released in Canada. So it’s a little premature to guess which carrier will be lucky enough to sell the new iPhone. That doesn’t stop Will Pate from reporting a rumor he heard from a Vancouver Mac shop that Rogers Wireless will be carrying the Apple iPhone in Canada in late fall 2007.
