Some of the earliest users of the iPhone 5 on the Verizon network got a bill showing a massive amount of data used. Verizon has acknowledged that there was an error that caused data to be used even when Wi-Fi was being used and Verizon promises the issue will be fixed.

The FCC has noted that it would review objections made against AT&T and proposed extra fees for using FaceTime over the carrier's wireless network. Consumer advocacy groups are up in arms because they believe AT&T is violating the FCC's open Internet rules.

Apple users are updating to iOS 6 at a much faster rate than users updated to iOS 5. Users are said to be upgrading to iOS 6 122% faster than they upgraded to iOS 5.
