Sister site SlashGear recently reviewed the Simple Visa debit card and its associated smartphone app for the iPhone. In the end, the app and service seemed pretty good even though you do have to wait 30 days before you can deposit money via a check.

Morgan Stanley is predicting that Apple could sell as many as 40 million iPhones in China by 2013. That of course is contingent on Apple landing contracts with the other two carriers in China and the next version of the iPhone supporting China Mobile's TD-LTE 4G network.

Apple CEO Tim Cook isn't happy at all about the claims that are making rounds claiming the company is knowingly using manufacturing facilitates where labor abuses are common. Cook said, "We care about every worker in the worldwide supply chain." He also said that the accusations were offensive.

The launch of the iPhone 4S in China was a big deal and drew huge crowds to get the new smartphone. The Apple Store in Sanlitun decided the crowd was too large and opted to not open due to fear of customers and employees being hurt. That led to some in the crowd "abusing" store workers.

If you are a Chinese iPhone fan, the smartphone is coming to China on January 13. Along with the launch in China, the device will also be coming to 21 other countries as well. The 4S has likely already been in China thanks to the gray market where the smartphone has been cheaper than the official device in the past.

A new rumor has surfaced that says the other iPhone that launches along with the iPhone 5 will be an iCloud iPhone. The rumor claims that the device will use iCloud for most of its storage.
