Apple has been granted a patent on the cool page turning animation that you see when reading e-books on the company's gadgets. The patent is called "Display screen of portion thereof animated graphical user interface" and was one of 38 patents issued Apple recently. continued »

App Store hits 300K Active apps, PayPal iPhone security fix, Google Instant beta

Apple has announced that the App Store has now hit the 300,000 active apps milestone. The average number of new apps released each month since April is 12,218 on the iPhone and 5,452 on the iPad. continued »

Bing may replace Google, OS 4.0 features leak, White House app
