Sid Meier is the man behind some of the best games that offer you total control over a civilization. The Civilization games have been enthralling players on computers for years and the game is finally coming to the iPhone.
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is now available on the iTunes app store. For the first 48 hours, you can grab the game for $4.99 and after that; the price goes up to $9.99. 2K Games is publishing the title and says that it is revamped for the iPhone platform.
The game has new graphics and a control system that is designed to take advantage of the gesture based iPhone and iPod touch platform. The title has 16 playable civilizations each with multiple difficulty levels.

Try the demo first. I have an iPhone 3G, and I felt the demo was sluggish. If they optimize it, then I’ll go for the full game.
