That’s right, no more paying for software unlocks via iPhoneSIMFree, now, thanks to the iPhone Dev Team hackers there is at least one way of unlocking your iPhone for free. The program is comically named iUnlock and works more or less the same way as the iPSF hack.
Better yet they are making the current hack open source and passing it out like candy on Halloween. The full team’s names are as follows: Daeken, Darkmen, guest184, gray, iZsh, pytey, roxfan, Sam, uns, Zappaz, Zf, and Nightwatch.
So now that credit has been given where its due, lets get down to the details, Giz has been given permission to host mirrors of both the file and the source code so their links will be below:
There should be more info as far as instructions on their way soon, but the hack was just accomplished a few hours ago so they are probably too busy testing to make sure it works to bother with writing a tutorial. I am just glad they have done it.

Hey Guys… I have a couple of questions.
1). How can I do it?
2). I live in Nicaragua (Central America), can I buy one in the USA and practice the hack with out having to sign a 2 year -prison contract - with AT&T?
3). If I CAN do it (2nd question) how can it be done?
