If you watch the news, surf the web, or read the paper it's hard to miss the fact that the gigantic storm is bearing down on the East Coast. Flooding is expected in some of the lower lying areas of major cities including New York. Apple has prepared its flagship Fifth Avenue store to defend against flooding.

The Federal Trade Commission judge has ruled that Samsung infringed on Apple patents. The ruling confirms that Samsung infringed on four patents with one patent having to do with touchscreen user input interpretations.

iOS Gamers will have the new video game they can download and check out as they hand out candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Borderlands Legends has been confirmed to come to iOS devices on October 31. Rather than being a traditional first-person shooter like the franchise is famous for, Borderland Legends will be a top-down shooter.

The adoption rate of iOS 6 has leveled out at 60% after one month of the new operating system being available. The significant adoption rate proves that despite shortcomings with Apple's own maps, criticisms of the new operating system aren't stopping people from upgrading.

The first time we saw the Romo robot was last year when the device is on Kickstarter seeking funding for production. A new second generation of the robot is on Kickstarter now seeking funding to tweak the software to bring more functionality to the robot, which is controlled by an iPhone or other Apple gadget.

Apple has announced that it plans to appeal the Tokyo court ruling in its patent case for Samsung in Japan. The Tokyo court had ruled that Samsung didn't violate Apple's patent on synchronizing music and video with servers.

Rumors are floating around that claim Apple has signed a contract with a Foxconn subsidiary to build a version of the iPhone. According to the rumor, a version of the iPhone will be produced by Foxconn International Holdings.
