We must admit the iPhone’s camera takes a pretty decent picture, but for some that is not enough. Some people are paying up to $100 for a case that has a built in lens. Wow, the advertising conditions in the UK are pretty strict! An Apple ad was pulled earlier this year, but now another iPhone 3G ad was pulled from UK TV because it apparently exaggerated the performance speed of the iPhone 3G.

It seems Google has confirmed the notion that Google Mobile uses APIs that are undocumented, opening up the ability to use the built-in proximity sensor in the iPhone for verbal searches. Despite the economic downturn, Apple is still doing pretty well for itself. Their Q4 earnings call today revealed that the company sold about 6.9 million iPhones. Want a bit of a comparison? Apple only sold 1.1 million iPhones in Q4 of 2007. That's a substantial increase.
