AppNinjas has announced that it has tied up with the Girl Scouts in Ohio to allow the scouts to sell cookies and charge using credit cards. The AppNinjas Swipe and app are being used to handle the card payments.

A new rumor has surfaced that claims that a deal is in the works at Apple that will bring universal music access to one iTunes account on multiple devices. It's not a subscription deal apparently and will allow the iPhone, iPod, and iPad 2 to all download music if tied to the same account.

AT&T has stated that the defections of current iPhone users from its network to Verizon are within its expectations. Naturally, AT&T is not offering up any numbers, but some speculation has claimed many of the Verizon iPhone 4 buyers were already iPhone users on AT&T.

Verizon tried to woo early adopters of the iPhone on its network by offering up an unlimited $30 monthly unlimited data plan for the smartphone. Verizon CFO Fran Shammo noted at an investor conference that the unlimited plan was not a long-term solution hinting it would be ending.

Steve Jobs was apparently blocked from being knighted in England after Jobs reportedly snubbed Gordon Brown, who was Prime Minister in 2009. Apparently, Jobs didn't get knighted after turning down an invite to speak at the annual Labour party conference.
