Apple has quickly corrected a severe problem with its maps that had Australian authorities warning users of the iPhone and other Apple gadgets to not use Apple Maps. The flaw in the map application was sending people into a barren state park with potentially fatal results.

Hasbro has announced that its cool holder for the iPhone called MY3D that turns compactable apps into 3D is shipping this month. You will be able to pick the thing up in Target stores only until June when it launches everywhere with a price of about $40.

A new rumor has surfaced that claims that a deal is in the works at Apple that will bring universal music access to one iTunes account on multiple devices. It's not a subscription deal apparently and will allow the iPhone, iPod, and iPad 2 to all download music if tied to the same account.

Apple has finally approved a Twitter iPhone app despite sometimes presents naughty words, CNET reports. The company intially rejected Tweetie 1.3 due to an offensive word appeared in Twitter's Trends data.

Sounds interesting. ShoutOUT, the first voice-to-SMS application for iPhone users in the U.S., has been introduced today by Promptu Systems Corporation. It allows users dictate their text messages, check and correct messages, and delivered them as text messages or status updates to Twitter or Facebook.
