Twitter for iPhone app, Android catching iPhone, iPhone 4.0 OS may get tethering

Fans of Twitter may have worried when Tweetie 2 was pulled for the App Store. The app came back quickly though as the official Twitter for iPhone app and can be downloaded now.

The iPhone OS is ahead of Android on the global market despite being overtaken in the US in Q1 2010. Android is predicted to catch up with the iPhone globally by the end of 2010 or early 2011.

A new beta version of iPhone OS 4.0 has surfaced that hints at tethering finally being offered by AT&T. We heard the same rumblings before and they turned out to be false so keep the salt handy.
