Apple has now become the world's second largest buyer of MEMS sensors that include accelerometers, gyroscopes, and microphones. You know that the devices are going into the iPhone and the iPad among other items and I would expect that to continue to grow.

Apparently iOS is getting an update to version 4.3.3 very soon. The update will fix a few things, most notably; it will patch the location-tracking bug making headlines.

A cool new app has surfaced called Scan It that is in use in Stop & Shop supermarkets in the eastern US. The cool app lets the user scan their groceries and then hand the iPhone to the clerk to pay at the register.

A screen shot from the Best Buy computer has surfaced and the screen shows that the iPhone will hit the store on the 27 in white. Apparently, each store will have at least ten of the white iPhone 4 smartphones on hand.

A new rumor has surfaced that claims the white iPhone 4 will land this month. The rumor started from "sources" close to Apple. At least we will know in a couple week is the rumor is true or not.
