I just go confirmation that DLO’s Jam Jacket and HipCase are two cases we’ll be seeing next to the iPhone on launch day.
The HipCase is made up of leather, and holds the iPhone horizontally.

The Jam Jacket is a silicone case with a place on the back to hold your headset.

More details will follow early next week, so stay tune.
By the way, is that a real iPhone in there? It sure looks like it!

Nice catch! My only concern with the Jam Jacket is that it might be too bulky to slip in my shirt or pant pocket. What do you think?
It also blows me away how Apple managed to make the “hole” of the camera so small while other phone manufacturers feel the need to take up so much space by adding crap to that area.

Too bulky, or maybe too much friction generated to slide gently into your pocket. It seems like it would “catch” on some clothing. I’m totally busting this thing out by a mere picture. ;-) We’ll see. I’m still going commando like Vincent. We can be commando brothers. heh.

Right on brother - there’s nothing like going commando with a fellow iPhone junkie!
This is still unofficial so lets keep this on the down low for now. DLO is going to be MY iTablet’s newest sponsor…so there’ll be a number of these cases to hand out to our loyal readers!

I still think ShieldZone.com’s Invisible Shield is better. Not bulky, yet protective, and doesn’t ruin the look.
