Apple has finally opened the door to a new promotional code system that allows developers to get full versions of their applications into the hands of reviewers. Now developers can issue up to 50 promotional codes for their application.

Apple has recently pushed out over 10,000 applications and as 2008 comes to a close they have compiled the top ten downloaded applications in each category. As promised the iPhone Dev team has delivered the 2.2 firmware jailbreak in the form of the Pwnage tool and Quickpwn for both Mac and Windows machines. This update seems to be the real deal breaker in regards to future unlocks.
