Despite there's an upside for developers, the upcoming Apple tablet computer could have a downside for app developers, Forbes says. The problem? Inconsistency in term of developing app --especially related to the screen size and resolution of these devices.

Gap and Mobclix are co-sponsoring an iPhone app development contest that’s launched yesterday surrounding WWDC 2009. The contest, which will end at September 1, will give developers the chance to design Gap’s official iPhone app. Grand prizes include cash from a notable Silicon Valley VC, a $1K Gap gift card and a free advertising package from Mobclix.
