WWDC 2008 - Apple announces 3G iPhone, availability

As expected, Steve Jobs has announced the much anticipated 3G iPhone during his keynote address at WWDC today. iPhone Buzz week in review

WWDC is tomorrow as you all well know, and this week has been one of expectation, and preparation for what we all hope will be the launch of the by now mythological 3G iPhone. This week started with bad news for Apple, when it was revealed that Apple's iPhone lost market share in the first quarter. Apple shipping boxes that are not to be opened until June 10th

An interesting rumor has surfaced today, with certain retailers in Australia receiving this box. The box has an ominous warning on the front, which clearly says if you open this box before June 10th, you will be on Apple's bad side. Apple renaming .Mac to Mobile Me, updating service

For six years not much has changed with Appple's .Mac service, but that could be about to change. It seems that Apple is looking to rename the service to Mobile Me, and revamp the entire suite of tools while they are at it. All references to the .Mac name in OS X 10.5.3 have been replaced with an easy to change in the future variable. continued »

New iPhone to come in 2.8 inch screen size as well?

Apple is already shrinking the screen size on the iPhone down from 3.5 inches to 3.2 inches, which is not that severe of a drop. It is just enough to allow the device to cut down on battery life a little, and to make it thinner.
