Today I've spent some time playing Labyrinth Lite Edition. I'm sure that most of you had, or at least have seen an old Labyrinth game. Basically what you had was two wooden boxes inside of another box. The inner boxes were each controlled by a different set of knobs, which you would use to tilt the innermost box. You would then have a marble set in a maze, and using ...

Since the App Store made its debut with tons of wonderful games, analysts have been wondering just how long it will take before Apple's phone starts eating away at the sales of systems like the PSP and DS. While I admit that the iPhone has great potential for gaming, I don't necessarily think that it's going to greatly affect either of the two major portable gaming platforms. Of course, neither ...

An iPhone 2.0 update appears to be on the way, as AppleInsider has caught a screenshot of an iPhone running software version 2.0.1. What will this update entail? We already know that the iPhone is turning into quite the gaming platform, with some big titles already in the works, but just how does it stack up to consoles in terms of raw power? According to Sega's president Simon Jeffrey, it's as powerful as the Sega Dreamcast.
Sure, the Dreamcast is around 9 years old, but for a phone to have that kind of power is still impressive. Jeffrey even ...

I've always been a huge Star Wars fan, and have been very excited about the upcoming title The Force Unleashed, which will be coming out in September for all major gaming consoles (PC not included). What it interesting is that LucasArts has deemed the iPhone worthy of inclusion in this release. Hit the jump for video footage.
