I just opened my email to find a new email from Apple. It's basically just a friendly reminder of the June 29 release and a summary of the features.

There really aren't any new features listed here. But if you don't frequent iPhone sites like this one, it's a good little summary.
I don't recall hearing this before, but you will need to have an iTunes account to even set up your iPhone. I doubt that's going to be a big deal for anyone, many of the people looking to purchase an iPhone have already purchased music from the iTunes store. The full email is below.

So you set up your contract and such through itunes? So you can just buy it from the AT&T store and bring it home and you set up the rest?
I was just loggin on to see if you had received yours yet, after I received mine of course. Mine was the first Apple sent out. Cuz you know, Steve and me are best buds. Ahhh… who am I kidding?
I don’t believe that you’ll set up the contract via iTunes, that will likely be done in-store. Though I’m pretty sure your account will then be managed through iTunes.
Man Walt, you’ll have to tell me how you got to be such great friends with Steve ;)
@Erik: I kind of doubt that, but, now that you mention it, that would seem like a great idea. Pay your bill and everything through iTunes. Set up the account. Makes sense for when you buy one from the Apple online store.
So apple is gonna have for sale online? for some reason i thought that you could only buy them at apples stores and AT&T
i just realized if they do the account set up in store then its gonna be crazy with all those people in there
@Chris: Some might even go so far as to say I’m such good friends, I *also* received the same email from AT&T.
Or maybe I just signed up at both Apple and AT&T.
You decide.
