Warner Bros has announced its online multiplayer game Watchmen: Justice is Coming for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Yeah, iPhone users can play the Watchmen MMO iPhone game alongside the movie’s debut on March 6.

InstantAction are actively working on the next Galcon project to enable iPhone gamers to take on PC users who play the popular strategy game. Developed by Phil Hassey and originally appeared on desktops version before finally making its way to the iTunes App Store last year.

EA Mobile just introduced the first screens of its Tiger Woods 09 game for the iPhone via Facebook, according to Pocket Gamer. So far, there are no solid details on this golfing game.

It's hard to say that iPhone isn't a promising gaming platform. No wonder Apple always keeps moving forward in this field. As part of their roadmap, Apple is planning to offer a premium games section to its iTunes App Store, say sources. A range of iPhone and iPod Touch games will be sold for $19.99.

The Facebook and MySpace game phenomenon finally lands on your iPhone! I-play launches its Bubble Town puzzler for iPhone and iPod touch. The game, which uses the iPhone's accelerometer and touchscreen, was one of I-play's most successful mobile games last year.

Just noticed that iControlPad - 'the iPhone games PSP style' has already headed into production [Yay!]. As we wrote on May last year, when this device was still in its prototype stage, the developer promised that the final version of the unit will be "much more sleek and fitting". Seems this new picture already prove it, I guess.

The 2008 Best App Ever Awards is the first iPhone OS Application achievement awards to recognize the best iPhone apps and games in the iTunes App Store during the past year. "Our goal is to help publicize the very best apps available, not just the best-selling apps," said the award's website.

Finally, Electronic Arts has released a version of its famous SimCity game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Nicely described by a site as "the grandfather of them all", SimCity now joins other EA-released games such as Spore, Scrabble, Monopoly and Tetris. The game is now available for $9.99 through the App Store.

Apache Lander is a game with a very basic concept. You control a helicopter that needs to land safely on the pad below. Your controls are based on the accelerometer, with left and right moving your chopper side to side and tilting forward or backward changes your altitude. So how well does this simple game play?
