Just noticed that iControlPad – ‘the iPhone games PSP style’ has already headed into production [Yay!]. As we wrote on May last year, when this device was still in its prototype stage, the developer promised that the final version of the unit will be “much more sleek and fitting”. Seems this new picture already prove it, I guess.
The peripheral enables your iPhone to be in a casing that allows for a PSP like feel. It adds physical buttons to the iPhone for the purpose of playing games.
However, according to an IntoMobile writer,
Apple still has to put in their two-cents on whether the iControlPad will actually be allowed to take advantage of the iPhone dock connector.
I hope so. Let’s hope.
