O2 website offers iPhone 3G pre-orders, promptly crashes
The original iPhone was easily the biggest mobile phone launch ever. The only forseeable way to to surpass it will be with the launch of the 3G. Knowing this, if your company decides to promise an early online sale of the new phone, you'd better make damn sure that your servers are up to handling it. I'm looking at you O2.

Apple stores also selling iPhone 3G at 8AM on Friday
This shouldn't come as a big surprised that the iPhone 3G will go on sale at 8AM on Friday at Apple retail stores. So, it is now official! The only question I have is, are you going to camp out for the iPhone 3G?

Rumor - Trick AT&T into letting you have an iPhone 3G for $199
So lets say that you're one of the many, many AT&T customers that isn't eligible for the $199/$299 iPhone 3G price.
