Virgin Mobile has begun the sale of prepaid iPhones on its mobile network. The off contract price for the phone is expensive with a 16 GB iPhone 4S going for $649.99 with the iPhone 4 8 GB going for $549.99. Data plans start at $35 a month.

Zynga has announced that it's working on a cross-platform gaming service called Zynga With Friends. The service will allow people using the iPhone, Android, Facebook and other platforms to play against each other in video games.

I'm sure more than a few iPhone users out there are waiting in anticipation for iOS 6. The operating system brings new features and capabilities to the mix. This week Apple released a second beta for iOS 6 to developers called build 10A5338d. The build was noted to bring "bug fixes and improvements."

Sources are claiming that the next iPhone will replace the 30-pin charge and sync port we all know with a smaller port. The new charge and sync port is said to be 19-pin, making it significantly smaller.

TomTom issued a press release yesterday that spilled the beans on them inside details on maps in iOS 6. TomTom noted that Apple had licensed some of its tech and it turns out the data could be coming from Waze.

Cyclists that want to keep track of the miles they ride have a new option that interfaces with the iPhone from a company called Wahoo. The Wahoo Blue SC Speed and Cadence Sensor is now available and will only work with the iPhone 4S and the latest iPad.
