Sources are claiming that the next iPhone will replace the 30-pin charge and sync port we all know with a smaller port. The new charge and sync port is said to be 19-pin, making it significantly smaller.

Another source has said that the smaller port on the new iPhone will also lockout all unlicensed accessories. The downside is any accessories you have right now won’t work with the new iPhone.

Belkin has announced that its WeMo home automation devices are now pre-ordering and shipping soon. There are two versions with one that allows an iOS app to turn anything plugged into it on and off in the other has a motion detector.
