Apple is already shrinking the screen size on the iPhone down from 3.5 inches to 3.2 inches, which is not that severe of a drop. It is just enough to allow the device to cut down on battery life a little, and to make it thinner. It is rumored that there will also be a miniature version of the iPhone, ...

It was only a matter of time until Apple and a Japanese carrier pounded out a deal. This is of course made possible thanks to the upcoming 3G iPhone. SoftBank released a very short and to the point press release today, stating that they will be the one to carry the iPhone in Japan. It is not mentioned whether or ...

The iPhone exploded into popularity after release, and because of that, by the time 2007 closed out, the iPhone had nearly 30% market share in the U.S. Put another way, that would mean one in three smart phone users had an iPhone. In Q1 of this year however, it was discovered that the iPhone's market share had fallen relatively sharply, ...

So here is the deal, a mysterious shipment from Apple's factory partners has made its way to North American shores. Since the middle of March, there have been 188 containers of a product with a name that Apple has never before used when importing their devices. All devices must have a name, when they come through customs. For example, when ...

Many 3G devices on many carriers can download music and such over the air, but for EDGE devices like the iPhone this is a little less practical. Now there are over the air downloads via the iTunes Store for the iPhone, but you must be in a WiFi hot spot to take advantage of the service. With the addition of ...

Well another week of iPhone news has gone by. This week has been somewhat slow compared to what we usually see. Quit possibly because everyone is counting down the days to WWDC. That's because we are hearing rumors that the 3G iPhone will not be the only thing Apple is going to awe us with at the event.

It seems Intel would like to shy away from comments made by their German manager yesterday. We saw yesterday a rumor originating from a German language source, that said that Intel had confirmed that a higher resolution iPhone like device would be powered by their new Atom processor. According to Intel however, these were general remarks, about what their new ...
