Yesterday was the day that many iPhone users have been waiting to come for years. A browser supporting Flash video launched on the App Store and was VERY popular. So popular that the demand caused service to degrade at Skyfire HQ and the app was pulled from sale to ensure a good user experience while upgrades were made to servers.

Antenna guy Mark Papermaster has officially left Apple. According to reports in the NYT Papermaster has been on the outs with Steve Jobs for months and Papermaster's departure was expected.

We learned yesterday that Opera Mini web browser was going it be announced for the iPhone. The real question is will Apple approve the app since it clearly competes with Safari.

One of the things that has been lacking form the iPhone since the device first hit the market was full support for Flash. This has been one of the most requested features for the iPhone and Adobe says that it developed the tools that allow developers to write Flash apps for the iPhone without help from Apple.

Adobe and Apple are working together to create Flash for iPhone, according to Adobe chief Shantanu Narayen. Despite it's not so easy and really up to Apple, but Narayen said that he was "pleased with progress".

It was made known today that Adobe Flash would be coming to the iPhone soon. This was made clear by the Sr. Director of Adobe Systems, however, it is up to Apple when Flash will actually appear on the device.

There is one big question that has had Adobe working around the clock , will there ever be flash in the iPhone?
During Adobe's Q2 earnings call Monday, chief Shantanu Narayen said that Adobe had tackled some of the technical challenges to getting Flash to work on the iPhone:
