Apple has pulled the WikiLeaks unofficial app from the App Sore after a short stint there. The app was added last Friday and pulled sometime today and was intended to let users follow the WikiLeaks Twitter account.

Nielson has offered up some new numbers that show that the top three devices are the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry smartphones. Apple has announced that the App Store has now hit the 300,000 active apps milestone. The average number of new apps released each month since April is 12,218 on the iPhone and 5,452 on the iPad.
