In what could be an ominous sign of the WWDC festivities, the Apple store has gone down. This has of course sparked a wild fire of rumors. WWDC is less than two hours away, and the store is down. The question is, what are they doing in there? Are they adding the 3G iPhone? Maybe that Mac Tablet we have ...

After iPhone shortages in the UK, it's now the turn of the US to experience supply problems. According to the online Apple store, both the 8GB and 16GB models are "Currently Unavailable". There's no indication of whether this is merely a case of stock mis-management or a sign that a new iPhone is fast approaching.

Cheery-faced PiperJaffray analyst Gene Munster told clients the other day that one of the signs of an upcoming 3G iPhone was that twenty Apple stores are apparently out of stock of the handset. Om Malik obviously has a decent long-distance call package, because his team decided to test out Munster's claim and call as many Apple stores as they could; locations ...

Looking for a brand new iPhone, but can't afford the plan and the phone itself? Rent one out. A company out of the United Kingdom, erento, rents hardware, tools, cars, and appears to also rent out iPhones. They're supposedly brand new, but they wouldn't be opening a new package every time somebody rented the iPhone for a day, so they're ...

Straight in line with all other stores on Black Friday, Macmall will be giving up to 22% off on select Apple products including Notebooks, iMacs, Mac Pro's, Mac Mini's, and the full range of iPod's on Thursday the 22nd (Thanksgiving) and Friday the 23rd. I knew as soon as I saw the first jailbreakme.com story that someone was going to go to an Apple store and Jailbreak the display model. Sure enough it happened, and now here is a picture.
Sure, it could be fake, but I would venture to guess that since it would take longer to photoshop it than to navigate to jailbreakme.com ...

Or your gift cards for that matter. Since when did one of the few nations to somewhat successfully run on a fiat monetary system stop accepting cash anywhere as an acceptable form of payments, let alone in the retail industry?
Then they decide they won’t take gift cards either, I am pretty sure its almost always been a policy to not ...

We already knew that Apple has decided to limit the number of iPhones an individual can buy in a single transaction - down from five to two - but its emerged that they've also decided that your cash just isn't good enough. Several would-be iPhone owners were turned away from Apple Store cash desks when they tried to pay for ...

It’s no surprise that as per Apple’s terms and conditions, if you mess with your iPhone, they will both no longer fix it, and they will go ahead and void its warranty and blacklist it from further repair. Third party apps are ok, as long as they aren’t running natively. This one gets the Rumor tag because I have only ...

So a few of you (read: almost everyone who bought an iPhone and reads this site) had something to say about my post on September 5th where Apple dropped the iPhone price by a third only 2 months after its release. And then you furthermore had something to say along the rollercoaster from “no rebate for you!” to the final ...
