Navizon had a great idea providing jailbroken iPhones with an ability to emulate GPS through tower triangulation, but it only gave somewhat accurate information. Partfoundry has developed a working prototype dongle for the jailbroken iPhone that provides real time GPS locationing with an accuracy of 16ft-32ft using the SiRF Star III chip. It's sleek look definitely goes well with the ...

According to them, German-based Balda is the only company that offers the caliber of display needed for Apple's revolutionary phone. Balda currently offers screens that are thinner and more sensitive than ...

The iPhone is going to be one of the first phones to have motion-sensing technologies right? It has the accelerometer technology to detect when the phone is being held in portrait or landscape mode, and changes the display to match. It also has a proximity sensor that can detect when a user holds it up to their ear. I'm sure ...

Apple has contacted the component manufacturers for the iPhone and asked them to start delivering materials next month.
With the materials coming in at the beginning of April, they will likely begin production shortly thereafter. This sounds about right if they're going have the iPhone ready for launch by June.
Since they are expecting the components to be shipped by the beginning ...
